🐉 Chotu-Chotu – Part 1: Over the Himalayas to School
The morning sun peeked over the snowy Himalayas, painting the clouds pink and gold.
Far below, in a small hidden valley, Chotu-Chotu the little dragon was stretching his wings. They were tiny — almost the size of two big leaves — but in his heart, they felt as wide as the sky.
“Today,” he whispered to himself, “I’m going to fly higher than ever before.”
He leapt into the air. The wind rushed past his face, cool and fresh.
Up, up he went — past the tallest pine trees, past a curious eagle, past clouds so close he could almost taste them.
But the Himalayas were tall and mighty. The wind there was stronger, and soon Chotu-Chotu found himself tumbling down in a soft, swirling spin. He landed safely in a meadow, right beside a little path.
Down the path came children, laughing and carrying schoolbags.
One boy stopped and said, “Hey! Are you lost?”
Chotu-Chotu shook his head shyly. “No… I think I just found something even more exciting than flying — where are you going?”
“To school,” the boy grinned. “Come with us!”
And so, with his little wings folded neatly, Chotu-Chotu followed the children, wondering what a “school” might be like…

🐉 Chotu-Chotu – Part 2: First Day at School
The school was a cheerful building with bright windows and a garden full of marigolds. Chotu-Chotu peeked inside and saw children drawing, reading, and talking to the teacher.
The teacher, a kind lady with silver-rimmed glasses, gasped softly when she saw him.
“Well! We don’t get many dragons in class,” she said with a smile. “Welcome, little one. Do you have a name?”
“Chotu-Chotu,” he replied proudly.
That day, he learned so many new things: how to write his name, how numbers work, and even a song about the seasons. During art time, he drew a picture of the Himalayas with tiny wings flying above them.
At lunchtime, the children shared their food — warm rotis, fresh fruit, and sweet ladoos. Chotu-Chotu, in return, told them a story about the time he followed a trail of fireflies through the forest at night.
When the school bell rang, Chotu-Chotu felt something warm inside his chest — not fire, but happiness.
“I think I’ve found a new kind of flying,” he thought, “one that happens in the mind.”
And from that day, the little dragon decided he would come to school every day… because learning was the greatest adventure of all.
